Big Box Retailer has a new concept being tested at a pilot store. Unlike other locations this is a white glove experience catering to consumers spending $200,000+ on kitchen and bathroom remodels.
This pilot store also carries high end brands that Big Box Retailer has not had access to before such a Thermador, Miehle, Subzero etc… . Due to the nature of these brands the shopping experience must be completely out of the Big Box Retailer network.
The problem this creates is all systems and tools must be new and stand alone. During a visit to the pilot location I observed Sales Specialists were unable to give their customers quotes immediately. Upon further research I discovered it took Sales Specialists 3-6 hours to build a quote.
